BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Support Connection is throwing a birthday party to celebrate its 20 years of service, on Wednesday, Aug. 10, and everyone is welcome.
"It’s hard to believe that 20 years has gone by," Executive Director Katherine Quinn said. "We decided it would be fun to mark this very special occasion by throwing a birthday party. We look forward to celebrating along with our friends, supporters and anyone who knows us."
Tickets cost $45, and include unlimited wine, cheese and hors d'oeuvres. The event also includes music and raffles -- and birthday cake.
RSVPs are required: do so online, by calling 914-962-6402 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nancy Heller and Rich Adamski, of Yorktown Heights, co-founded Support Connection in the summer of 1996. In its 20 years, the nonprofit has helped thousands of women and families cope with the challenges of a breast or ovarian cancer diagnosis.
Heller, Adamski and Quinn will all be on hand for the festivities.
The celebration will be from 5:30-8 p.m., at The Briarcliff Manor, 25 Studio Hill Rd., in Briarcliff Manor. If you can't make it but would still like to support the organization's services, you can donate here.
