Mexcellent Deli, located in Chappaqua at 27 South Greeley Ave., opened on Tuesday, April 18.

The deli offers “traditional Mexican cuisine combined with American deli fare,” according to the eatery’s website. In addition to buying their meals in-store, Mexcellent offers catering services.

“Much more than a Deli!” wrote David K. of Chappaqua in a five-star review on Mexcellent’s Yelp page. “Excellent food and a very friendly staff. ... This will become a regular destination.”

With fun dish names (such as the Al Pacino, which includes a chicken cutlet, prosciutto, and other toppings, or the Human Size Wrap, stuffed with grilled chicken, avocado, and mozzarella), desserts, a kid’s menu, and ever-changing daily specials, it seems there is something for everyone at Mexcellent Deli.

Those looking for a good breakfast can try any of Mexcellent’s many breakfast sandwich combinations, omelets, burritos, and french toast or pancakes.

Once breakfast ends, the deli boasts a large selection of salads, wedges, burgers, cheesesteaks, Mexican combos, and more.

“Family owned, Family ran, Family strong,” the eatery wrote on an Instagram post showcasing the inside of the deli, asking customers to “support small business[es].”

Located just steps away from the Chappaqua train station, Mexcellent Deli is sure to make a splash on the scene for hungry commuters, after-school snacks, catering, and more.
