KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Harvey School’s boys tennis team made it three consecutive Housatonic Valley Athletic League championships with an 8-1 victory over Forman Saturday at Katonah Memorial Park.

With the victory, Harvey finishes 14-0 on the season, the second undefeated season in the past three years for the Cavaliers. Alec Roslin (11-1 on the year) kicked off the day with a convincing 10-1 win at No. 1 singles, followed by Harry Solomon (13-1 this season) with a solid 10-3 win. Zach Schwartz (14-0) battled to pull out a 10-5 win to cap an undefeated season. Eighth-grader David Weiner (11-2) continued the Harvey roll with a 10-3 victory at No. 4 singles. At No. 5 and No. 6 singles, Bryan Krosser (10-0) and Jordan Fox (12-2) clinched the win with two more impressive victories.

The doubles teams of Roslin and Solomon and Weiner and Tyler Levy closed out the day with victories over their counterparts from Forman. For the four seniors, co-captains Solomon and Krosser, and No. 3 and No. 6  singles players Schwartz and Fox, this year’s team victory was a culmination of an amazing four-year run of three titles and one second place finish.
