Keating, an agent with William Raveis, is listing the 5-bedroom Colonial for $874,500. It includes four bathrooms, 3,799 square feet of living space and 2.47 acres. It is just steps away from the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, a park of 4,315 acres that includes fishing, camping, hiking, cross country skiing and more.

“It’s protected land that you can walk to,’’ Keating said. “You’ll also have spectacular, unobstructed views. It’s near a hilltop so that you’re looking at amazing wildlife such as hawks, eagles, birds and other animals. And the house is in unbelievably perfect shape.”

The home, which was built in 1994, provides the perfect perches to view the nearby reservation. Three large decks will give the homeowner vantage points to see the Reservation’s four-season splendor. The upper decks wrap around the home, so views of the surroundings are always changing.

“The views are breathtaking,’’ Keating said. “You get a different perspective from every floor.”

The home was extensively remodeled in 2008. The updates include a new roof, lush carpets, chic master and guest bathrooms, paint and herringbone oak floors in the living room and dining room.

The kitchen is large and open, and could be used as a combined family room and kitchen.

There are some other unique features, such as a small greenhouse off the kitchen that could be used for growing herbs or houseplants, apartment with a separate entrance and fitness room. There is also a 400-square foot room that could be finished off as a “man cave,” wine cellar, recreation room or office. The home exudes warmth, quality and privacy.

“It has a lot of unique qualities,’’ Keating said. “One of the other advantages is its location. The train station is nearby, and it’s just a 10-minute drive to Ridgefield in Connecticut and its terrific shopping district. You have two world-class museums, in Katonah and in Ridgefield at the Aldrich, just a short drive away. The caliber of those two museums rivals anything you’d see in New York.”
