“We’re still waiting for the exact air date,” said Pieragostini. “But we were told it will be sometime in the next four weeks.”
The show, which premiered in 1999, will follow Pieragostini's clients Steven and Megan Grskovic, and their three children, as they research the market with Pieragostini and plan their move to Westchester from Boston. "House Hunters" typically follows home buyers in different markets while they compare three different properties.
After building up a rapport with the Grskovics, Pieragostini was enthusiastic about applying for a "House Hunters" episode.
“Here’s a family that’s making this big, life-changing move from Boston to Westchester. We all agreed nothing would be cooler than documenting that transition for all their friends and family to see,” said Pieragostini. “'House Hunters' is always looking for great stories and this is one of them.”
Since filming the episode, Pieragostini has done a bit of moving himself.
Although "House Hunters" will show him as a real estate agent working for Paddington Stone Realty in White Plains, Pieragostini has since joined William Raveis, a real estate agency in downtown Katonah.
Nonetheless, the Grskovics, Pieragostini and his new employer can’t wait for the episode to air.
“'House Hunters' has never done a show about properties in this part of the country,” said Pieragostini. “I think it’s really going to show everyone — on a national level — how cool it is to live in this dynamic community.”
