After being identified by the victim, Gilchrist was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree assault. He was remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond, police said.
The victim was taken to Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut for treatment of lacerations and contusions to his head and face, police said.
