Protesters Line Street Against Pipeline

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - Groups of protesters lined the streets outside the Westchester Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown earlier this week, while the Chair of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission was in a meeting at the hotel.

According to a report from News 12, environmental protesters want the commission to rethink a new natural gas pipeline that had been approved by federal regulators in March. 

Others were at the hotel protesting against the aging Indian Point nuclear facility, arguing it needs to be shut down permanently.
