Ramiro’s 954 Serves Up Nuevo Latino Fusion On Route 6 In Mahopac

Located at 954 Route 6 in Mahopac, it offers a self-described “unique cuisine (Latin American fusion) based on “traditional recipes, flavors and textures with a creative-modern approach, incorporating seasonal ingredients.”

Opened in 2011, Ramiro’s 954 has garnered a four-star rating on Yelp with more than 150 reviews. On the menu, you’ll find an array of fresh options inspired by Executive Chef Ramiro Jimenez. Meat entrees include Pernil con Mojo (Slow braised pork shank served with tomatillo-avocado sauce, garlic mojo, traditional rice and black beans) and Carne Ropa Vieja (Cuban style shredded braised skirt steak cooked with peppers, onions, and tomatoes served over rice and accompanied by a fried egg, sweet plantains, cilantro and avocado).

Other specialties include Ramiro’s tacos and tequila drinks, which are available for $5 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
