Rosh Hashanah: Schools closed. 

Free Square Dance: 7:30 p.m. A free square dance with a professional caller will be held at the Katonah United Methodist Church. The event, sponsored by Friendly Squares, is open to all: families, singles and couples. Come experience the fun and good exercise of modern western square dancing. "Tree Work” with Joseph Wheelwright: 7 p.m. Joseph Wheelwright reveals the inspiration and creative process used to fabricate his towering tree figures in the Sculpture Garden. Sixty-Fourth Annual Herb Fair: 11 a.m. The Herb Fair is an annual event sponsored by the New York Unit of the Herb Society of America. It features gourmet foods including mustards, sauces, herbal salad dressings, jams and jellies; baked goods; herb and garden plants for sale; and gift items. "Iron Jawed Angels" Movie: 7 p.m. Presented by the League of Women Voters of Bedford, Lewisboro, North Salem, the movie will be followed by homemade treats and a lively discussion.
