Take A Walk On The Wild Side At Mianus River Gorge In Bedford

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Nature lovers can take a walk on the wild side through the Mianus River Gorge in Bedford on Sunday, says the preserve’s executive director, Rod Christie.

Christie will be leading a winter walking tour of the Levene and Castlebrook properties from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the preserve.

The gorge is at 167 Mianus River Road.

Participants will also learn how to spot signs of wildlife, such as bobcats and coyotes, Christie said.
