Pound Ridge Invites Kids To Join Easter Egg Contest, Jelly Bean Count

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Pound Ridge's Recreation & Parks Department has put together several Easter events for kids, including an egg decorating contest and a jelly bean count.

Kids are invited to submit their decorations to the department by Wednesday, March 29.

To enter the jelly bean contest, the department notes that people should head to the Pound Ridge Library.

Winners will be announced at the town's Egg Scramble, which will be held at Pound Ridge Elementary School on Saturday, April 1 at 11 a.m.

Kids from pre-k through third grade are invited to enter. 

"Winners will be selected from each grade and a Special Grand Prize winner and Most Comical winner, will also be chosen," an event announcement notes.
