Newtown Flagpole Photographers Hold Contest, Holiday Party

NEWTOWN, Conn. - The Newtown Flagpole Photography Club is inviting guests to vote for their favorite photograph during its annual December competition.

The Flagpole Photographers Club in Newtown is holding a holiday party for members and nonmembers alike.

This year's theme is "Predominate Color" so photographs can be any color, but one color should stand out in the photo as being predominate. It also happens to be the theme of this years annual holiday party.

The holiday party will be held Dec. 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Newtown Senior Center, 14 Riverside Road. The photographs will be voted on by everyone who attends, including guests.The winners will be announced after dinner.

All are invited to come enjoy the pot luck meal and fun, as well as participate in the club's traditional gift exchange. Bring a wrapped gift of up to $10 if you want to join participate in the exchange.
