BEDFORD, N.Y. – The Bedford Hills Free Library will observe its centennial this year with varied activities celebrating 100 years of community.

A kickoff Community Festival will be held Sunday, June 28, on the library grounds. The festival is free and open to all residents, nonprofit groups and local businesses. The event will feature performances by local favorites, including Sloan Wainwright and Jonathan Kruk, as well as other storytellers, musicians and special guests.

Activities include craft projects, games and prizes for children and families, giveaways, a literary scavenger hunt and an archaeological dig.
