The Theatre seeks volunteers who are looking to produce quality entertainment that is a rich theatrical experience for community members of all ages.
The following positions are open for volunteers:
- Producer: Act as primary liaison to town; call and set agenda for monthly board meeting; work with town, director and technical directors, designers etc. to set production schedule; implement production schedule.
- Artistic director: Obtain perusal scripts and coordinate a perusal committee to read plays under consideration; make recommendations for future productions.
- Fundraising and promotion: Coordinate fundraising and outreach activities.
- Box Office: Coordinate ticket sales and box office staffing.
- Business manager: Work with producer, director to set annual budget; keep financial records and provide reports to the town.
- Communications – Publicity and Promotions: Write and distribute press releases, post to Facebook page; coordinate production of flyers, posters and email blasts and Patron’s Letter.
- Costumes and properties: Maintain closet inventory; devise and implement a costume/prop rental system.
- House manager: Work with producer(s), business manager, box office manager; manage the house, including staffing, scheduling and troubleshooting.
- Webmaster: Maintain website; maintain contact database; coordinate email blasts, mass mailings; advise/help/coordinate online ticket sales and other online activities.
