The slow-moving storm is still packing a powerful punch and conditions along the coastline are expected to deteriorate Sunday night into Monday.

The track to the east means a lot less rainfall than anticipated, with some showers along the coastline and the heaviest rain remaining offshore. Areas farther inland in the Hudson Valley should not see much of any rain from the storm.

A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for Southern Westchester where moderate coastal flooding is possible around times of high tide Sunday night through early this week as the storm is moving very slowly.

A battering surf capable of causing significant dune erosion and overwashes is also expected through early in the week.
