A pair of separate motor-vehicle crashes caused delays on I-684 on Thursday morning.
The most recent crash, reported around 9:15 a.m. initially blocked two lanes northbound at Exit 2 (Route 120) in Purchase with stopped traffic at the scene of the incident and gridlock back to Exit 1 (Hutchinson River Parkway).
An earlier crash on southbound I-684 is causing delays at the junction of the Hutch.
That crash, reported at 8:45 a.m., moved to the shoulder of the road.
