A busy street in Northern Westchester will be closed for several hours as crews continue working on a drainage project in the area.
Officials from Croton-on-Hudson issued an alert on Wednesday cautioning that as part of the High Street drainage project, the roadway will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30. The closure is expected to span from Riverside Avenue to Palmer Avenue as contractors replace an existing drainage crossing on High Street.
Emergency vehicles will be permitted to pass through the work area during the project. Detours are expected to be posted.
