I-684 Rest Area Closure Announced

Beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, motorists have been notified by the New York State Department of Transportation that the northbound rest area between Exit 8 (Hard Scrabble Road) and Exit 9 (I-84) and is expected to reopen the following morning, weather permitting.

The NYSDOT has requested that motorists traveling through the area exercise extra caution and follow traffic control devices and flaggers directing traffic in the area.
