There will be right lane and shoulder closures on both the northbound and southbound sides of the roadway, weather permitting, as contractors perform maintenance activities on Saturday.

Beginning at 6 a.m., the right lanes between Lawrence Street and Holly Road in Greenburgh will be closed, and the right shoulders between Dana Road and Pleasantville Road in Mount Pleasant are scheduled to be closed. Lanes are expected to reopen to traffic at approximately 2 p.m.

The New York State Department of Transportation’s Hudson Valley Region has warned drivers to exercise caution while traveling through the work zones, and to pay attention to traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers directing motorists. The DOT noted that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
