Alert Issued After Students Followed 'Uncomfortably Close' In Westchester Two students in Mount Pleasant received a scare on Thursday when they “sensed someone walking uncomfortably close to them,” near the Hawthorne train station after being let off the bus. Mount Pleasant Central Schools Superintendent Kurtis Kotes issued an alert to parents on Friday, Dec. 14 cautioning that on Thursday, Dec. 13, two students were followed after being let out at their designated bus stop near the station.
