The band, an integral part of the musical fabric of Stepinac, comprises students who do not necessarily have a strong talent in playing a musical instrument but have a strong interest to do so. Throughout the year, they are instructed to help them become more proficient in their playing abilities.

In addition to marching in St. Patrick’s Day parades on a rotating basis throughout the region including the traditional massive gathering in New York City on March 17, the band marches in the White Plains and Harrison Columbus Day parades and performs a half-time show at Stepinac’s annual homecoming football game.
