Impressionist Christine Pedi To Perform At Stepinac High School

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A special fun-filled evening to benefit Stepinac High School’s performing arts programs will be presented on Friday, Nov. 27 at the Crowne Plaza White Plains. It is an event that is shaping up to be one of the area’s most attractive entertainment offerings during the Thanksgiving weekend.

The billing, An Evening with Christine Pedi, will be a cabaret performance by the award-winning entertainer, Drama Desk Nominee, Broadway star and Sirius XM Host. Known as the “Lady of a thousand voices,”Pedi’s signature talents are impressions of famous entertainment personalities. She will be accompanied by the pianist Joel Martin.

The evening will kick off at 8:00 p.m. with hors’ deurves, followed by the cabaret at 9:00 p.m. A silent auction for special prizes will also be part of the program. 

 “We are very excited to have engaged the very gifted and popular Christine Pedi to help make this fundraiser for the school’s performance arts programs very successful,” said Frank Portanova, Director of Stepinac’s acclaimed Drama Club and Vice Principal for Academics and Curriculum.

A native of Yonkers, Ms. Pedi is currently starring in NEWSical Off Broadway. She can also be heard daily hosting SiriusXM Radioʼs On Broadway channel 72. 

A multi awards winning cabaret artist, she’s performed all over the U.S. and the world including London’s West End, Japan, Los Angeles, New York, Singapore and Detroit.  She received a Drama Desk nomination for her work in Forbidden.

On Broadway she recently played Mama Morton in Chicago and in Talk Radio Off Broadway, she played the title role in Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating and Marriage and in several of The A Train Plays, The 24 Hour Plays and Project. Her vast array of impressions can be seen on YouTube videos.
