Ted Cruz will name former presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina as his running mate on Wednesday afternoon, according to multiple reports.
The Texas Senator will make the announcement in an effort to regain momentum despite being unable to reach the 1,237 delegates required to secure the nomination. All Cruz can do now is try and block Donald Trump from landing the nomination and force a brokered convention, CNN.com reported.
Fiorina built her presidential campaign on the back of her business experience as the CEO of Hewlett Packard. The CEO clashed often with Trump during the early primaries, especially after the GOP front-runner criticized her looks in a Rolling Stone Interview, CNN.com said.
Cruz will make the announcement during a rally in Indiana.
