According to Axios, Schumer called Capitol Police after discovering a forged document accusing him of sexually harassing a former staffer. The staffer told Axios the document was false and has also contacted Capitol Police.
The PDF had been shopped to the media but had numerous holes. it claims harassment occurred on Sept. 16, 2011, in Washington, D.C., though Schumer was in New York City. It claims harassment occurred on Aug. 25, 2011, in D.C., though Schumer was in France, according to Axios.
