The best way to become Westchester County Executive...is to go to Fordham University?

County Executive George Latimer is the fifth straight Westchester County Executive to have graduated from Fordham, a Jesuit university in The Bronx. Latimer defeated his fellow Fordham alum, former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino in November.

Every Westchester County Executive since 1974 has been a Fordham graduate, starting with Alfred Del Bello and continuing with Andrew O'Rourke and Andrew Spano.

Fordham started in Westchester, though the land later became part of Bronx County.
