A Westchester County man is facing a felony for allegedly violating a protective order, police in Fairfield County said.
Rye Brook resident James Venia, 24, was arrested earlier this week after members of the Greenwich Police Department were notified that he allegedly made a phone call to someone with a court order of protection.
“The investigation revealed that the offender (Venia) had violated a court order of protection by making phone contact,” according to the police report. Venia was arrested and charged with violating a protective order, a felony.
Following his processing on the charge, Venia was released on $1,000 bail. No return court date has been announced. Check Daily Voice for updates.
