Police investigators from the Suffolk County Police Department are asking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a man who burglarized a restaurant last month.

According to police, the suspect, who was caught on camera, pried open the window of Martin’s Coffee Cafe on West Hoffman Avenue in Lindenhurst at approximately 1:55 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.

After breaking into the restaurant, the man allegedly stole a cell phone, food, drinks and fled in a bicycle he stole from behind the business, police said. A short time later, the suspect re-entered and stole food.
