Greenwich Police have issued a new call for public assistance in their search for clues in the unsolved death of a baby boy on May 16, 1986.
The boy, who investigators refer to as Baby John, was found dead in the dumpster of an apartment building on Mason Street in downtown Greenwich, police say. Medical examiners determined that Baby John was killed shortly after he was born.
The boy would have been 33 years old this week, according to police.
The State of Connecticut is offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the responsible party.
