Four Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops

New York State Police troopers removed two dozen motorists from area roadways during the extended Veterans Day holiday weekend.

Local residents charged include:

Westchester County

  • On Saturday, Nov. 9, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Otis L. Martin, 36, of Croton-on-Hudson, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 9 in the village of Croton-on-Hudson, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Nov. 10, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Victor M. Lojano Chasi, 20, of Peekskill, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 9 in the village of Croton-on-Hudson, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Nov. 10, State Police from Brewster arrested Federico Zarza Gomez, 45, of Yonkers, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Nov. 10, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Luis R. Naula Naula, 35, of Peekskill, for DWI. He was traveling on South Division Street in the city of Peekskill, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Dutchess County

  • On Friday, Nov. 8, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Pedro D. Barreno, 21, of Poughkeepsie, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on South Avenue in the town of Pleasant Valley, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Nov. 9, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Kiwan Smith, 34, of Poughkeepsie, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 55 in the town of LaGrange, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Nov. 9, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Ashley N. Tonge, 26, of Poughkeepsie, for DWI. She was traveling on Main Street in the city of Poughkeepsie, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Nov. 9, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Thomas W. Lyons, 43, of Pleasant Valley, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 44 in the town of Pleasant Valley, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Nov. 10, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Yoni Garcia Navarrete, 31, of Poughkeepsie, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Route 44 in the town of Poughkeepsie, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Nov. 10, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Nicole M. Dipilato, 42, of Union Vale, for Aggravated DWI. She was traveling on Route 82 in the town of Union Vale, when she was involved in a two-car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Putnam County

  • On Monday, Nov. 11, State Police from Brewster arrested Amanda M. Ribeiro, 27, of Southeast, for DWI. She was traveling on Sodom Road in the town of Southeast, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Fairfield County

  • On Saturday, Nov. 9, State Police from Brewster arrested Christopher Cruz, 32, of Brookfield, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Nov. 9, State Police from East Fishkill arrested Joffre W. Leon, 22, of Danbury, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Nov. 10, State Police from Hawthorne arrested Anthony Tuxan Pedraza, 29, of Danbury, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Yorktown, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Nov. 10, State Police from Brewster arrested Gabriel F. Grenier, 37, of Danbury, for DWI. He was traveling on Danbury Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, Nov. 10, State Police from Brewster arrested Justin M. Placella, 23, of Danbury, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
