Police reported that a 911 caller told officers on Wednesday she believed someone had forced open the door to her house. The woman, who was home alone, called police after she came downstairs to find her front door wide open and an unexpected light on, police said.

Multiple units responded and checked the interior of the home with the homeowners without finding any signs of forced entry.

Also on Wednesday, Trevor Quinones of the St. Vincents OAR's program contacted North Castle Police Headquarters to report that his client has not been attending rehabilitation sessions. Officers responded, but could not locate the client.

Later on Wednesday, a citizen came into the police department to let officers know that they had seen a vehicle run over a cone on Maple Avenue near a pothole. Officers responded and found that the car and the cone were gone. Officers replaced the cone.

On Sunday, April 2 officers received a complaint that a tree was down on Creemer Road. Officers responded and found a large limb sticking about a foot into the roadway. Officers placed a traffic cone in front of the limb and notified the North Castle Highway Department.
