Westchester County Police detectives are investigating thousands of dollars worth of reported stolen jewelry that may have been stolen by an ex-boyfriend in Mount Kisco, investigators said.
A Gregory Avenue resident reported to County Police investigators late on Thursday, March 28, that approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry had been taken from her home while she was away from the area for several hours.
According to police, the woman said that she suspects an ex-boyfriend used a spare key that she hides on the property to gain entry into the home and steal the jewelry. The investigation into the stolen items is ongoing, police noted.
