Last week, police in North Castle were contacted by a bus driver, who reported that he had seen the same black and brown puppy running loose in the area on numerous occasions, with the dog even making his way onto the bus while he was dropping off some kids on Monday.

Police spoke with the bus driver, who was able to provide the offers with the dog owner’s name and address. The driver noted that he had also seen the dog loose on Starkey Road, and that he was worried it may frighten children getting off the bus.

The officers spoke with the dog’s owner, and the “matter is adjusted,” according to police.
