Anastasia "Ana" Maria Lovelace of Spring Valley, who worked at three hospitals in the area, died
She was a phlebotomist specialist at Nyack Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern and Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow.
Ana attended Pomona Middle School and Ramapo High School in Spring Valley.
She was part of HHC 369th in the National Guard, serving from 2007 to 2013 where she was fondly known as the "fearless medic" by her colleagues.
Ana was born on Jan. 6, 1987 in Port of Spain Trinidad and Tobago. She was the daughter of RaeAnn and Trevor Wills and Felix and Lisa Cazoe; granddaughter of Hilda Lovelace (deceased), Lenox Renaud, Hilda Cazoe and Peter Philbert. Sister of Trevor Wills Jr; Malkia, Ameila and Amanda Cazoe; niece of Stacey Christie; Danica, Wendell (deceased), Ricardo, Sheldon and Anthony Lovelace; Nicole Lovelace-Altidor; Natalie and Neil Carrington; Allison, Camille and Warren Renaud; Ronald, Nadine, Nolyn and Ann-Marie Cazoe; cousin of Mark-Anthony and Joshua Lovelace; Arden Thomas; Hans Altidor; Nicholas Alibey; Nia Carrington; Luke and Elijah Christie; Ayana, Nkosi, Shaquille, KD and Romeo Cazoe; Akil and Darron Castillo; Cherry Aulis; James Quamina; Nickelle Le Gendre and Nikeisha James. Goddaughter of Annette Boodramsingh.
A viewing will be held on Monday, Nov. 6 at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59 in Suffern at 11 a.m., followed memorial service at noon.
