The next Marylou Seaman County Employees Blood Drive will take place Dec. 7 at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is organized by Westchester County employees, in cooperation with the New York Blood Center's Hudson Valley Blood Services, and is open to the public.
Anyone between the ages of 16 and 76, weighing at least 110 pounds, is eligible.
The blood drives take place three times a year and were named after Mary Lou Seaman who coordinated blood drives for 30 years.
Westchester residents are encouraged to contribute because the holiday season brings in a greater need for blood and the shelf life for blood is limited.
