Water Main Break Affecting Many North Castle Residents

A water main break in North Castle is expected to affect residences in the area as crews complete repair work.

The North Castle Police Department issued an alert at 11 a.m. on Monday morning regarding a water main break on Washington Avenue.

Police said that the Water Department is currently making repairs in the area, though no timetable has been made by officials. Until those repairs are finished, police said that homes on Washington Avenue between Washington Place and Virginia Road will be affected.

Local residents may experience a significant decrease in water pressure in their homes as crews work in the area. Drivers in the area can also expect possibly icy conditions as temperatures continue to drop in the area.
