Metro-North service on the Hudson and Harlem lines was back to normal schedule by 11 a.m. Friday after earlier delays in and out of Grand Central as a result of a track condition.
Delays of up to 20 minutes began at around 9:15 a.m.
The condition was in the vicinity of the Park Avenue Tunnel, Metro-North said in a statement just before 9:30 a.m.
Customers are advised to listen to announcements at local stations.
