An accident that initially blocked two lanes on northbound I-684 in North Salem caused heavy delays Tuesday evening.
The crash, reported just before 8 p.m., was between Hardscrabble Road (Exit 8) and I-84 (Exit 9) where there is stopped traffic. Stop-and-go delays stretched back to Route 116 (Exit 7).
