A 30-foot trawler sank into the waters of Long Island Sound after hitting rocks near the Penfield Reef Lighthouse off the coast of Fairfield at about noon Sunday, according to the Connecticut Post.
None of the six passengers aboard was injured, police told the Post.
Fairfield police and firefighters, as well as Bridgeport police, rescued the passengers, the Post said.
