The Westchester Bank Continues Its Mission To Serve The Community

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- For Stephanie Weston, a long-time Westchester resident, her decision to join The Westchester Bank came naturally. Weston found the leadership and employees at TWB shared her belief that a bank is more than just a place to do business, but also plays an important role in giving back to the community.

Stephanie Weston, Vice President, Retail Market Manager at The Westchester Bank, has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and a continued desire to give back to her community.

Weston was recently named Vice President, Retail Market Manager at The Westchester Bank, bringing over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and a continued desire to give back to her community.

"The reason I left where I was to come to The Westchester Bank was because it matched my culture, and I felt like I could do more with the community here," said Weston. "I work with committees that empower women and other organizations that help our community. The Westchester Bank works with so many different organizations, so the opportunity to give back is very easy."

Actively involved with many local organizations, Weston was seeking a job that met her career-minded goals and also focused on a community-based mission. "I lived in Westchester my whole life," said Weston. "I know The Westchester Bank was the right fit because they donate their resources and time to a lot of great causes. They keep the community in mind because that is at the center of everything we do."

Weston has contributed her time and expertise to several charities including Committees for Hope’s Door, Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, the Executive Leadership Team for Go Red for Women, Habitat for Humanity, The March of Dimes, Juvenile Diabetes and The American Cancer Society.

Prior to joining The Westchester Bank, Weston spent 25 years at The Bank of New York, working from teller up to become a branch manager and senior private banker. She then went on to work at People’s United Bank, opening a Bronxville branch in 2011 before being promoted to market manager. In her new role at TWB, Weston is responsible for leading and directing branch operations while ensuring quality customer service.

“Finding the best people who also fit our culture of elevated customer care is essential in managing the continued growth we’ve been fortunate to experience," said John Tolomer, President and CEO of The Westchester Bank. "We're excited that Stephanie's part of a team that reflects community banking at its very best and look forward to her many contributions in exceeding the expectations of our current and future customer base,”
