“It is great to connect the spirituality of Judaism and yoga,” states Rabbi Bergman. “This program is perfect for yogis of all levels and faiths.”

A gentle and unique yoga style, chair yoga replaces a traditional yoga mat with a chair. Students are able to warm up the body safely and perform yoga poses with more support and stability. In the class, students will learn a variety of yoga postures and breathing techniques to help increase flexibility, strength, and health.

Chair yoga is suitable for men and women of all ages, fitness levels, and physical conditions. We will incorporate the spirit and prayerfulness of shabbat with the yoga poses.
