Martin's appearance on Seinfeld's show, "Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee," premiered here Wednesday night.
The episode was filmed in Pleasantville last September. On the show, the duo crosses the Tappan Zee Bridge from Rockland to Westchester County. Seinfeld cracks jokes about its construction and Martin notes its impact on suicide rates.
Their car breaks down on the Saw Mill River Parkway before they arrive in Pleasantville to have lunch at the diner.
"This town is very pleasant," Martin said.
"Yes, it's kind of a pleasant ville," Seinfeld replied, as they walked on Wheeler Avenue to Manville Road and then on Memorial Plaza.
While they walked around Pleasantville, they discussed the term comic genius.
Inside the diner, Martin discussed his decision to stop doing stand-up comedy at the height of his success.
The diner said they were given a weeks notice about the filming. Martin had an egg salad sandwich while Seinfeld had a mozzarella omelette and both had ice cream for dessert.
Martin said he would love to come back to the diner again, but on one condition.
"Just not with him," Martin said, pointing at Seinfeld.
