BEDFORD CORNERS, N.Y. -- Bassem Eid, a Palestinian leader living in Israel, will be the featured speaker at Temple Shaaray Tefila on March 20 at 7 p.m.

Born in Jerusalem, Mr. Eid is a political analyst, human rights activist, and expert commentator on Arab and Palestinian affairs. He is the founder of the Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group and is an outspoken critic of BDS movement. This controversial movement is a Palestinian call for a campaign of boycotts, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel until it complies with international law and Palestinian rights.

The title of his talk will be “Dignity versus Identity: What do the Palestinians Really Want?”
