Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is kicking into full gear.
This year's event will run from Oct. 30 to Nov. 12 and will feature restaurants from Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester. 100 restaurants have already signed up and the deadline for restaurants to register is Tuesday, Aug. 15.
“Our goal has always been to cultivate relationships between the Hudson Valley’s restaurants, farms, and purveyors," Janet Crenshaw, founder of Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, said. "Each year we drive more local and visitor traffic to the region and its chefs and restaurants through our annual fall and spring Restaurant Weeks.”
Hudson Valley Restaurant Week features prix-fixe, three-course dinners and lunches priced at $32.95 and $22.95 respectively. During previous restaurant weeks, nearly 250 participating restaurants served an estimated quarter of a million patrons.
Restaurant participants report an average of 25% increase in business during the two-week event, collectively generating an estimated economic impact of $10.2 million in sales revenue.
