Zan's, 135 Alexander Ave, Lake Grove: An area favorite offering Jewish dishes, from homemade soups, pastrami, and corned beef sandwiches, to "Zan's French Fries" made from scratch, in an array.

Isaak M, of Smithtown in Yelp post, says, "Delicious kosher deli. The complementary coleslaw and pickles are great. Got the lunch half sandwich with excellent kreplach soup...Hot corned beef sandwich is fabulous very tender and virtually no fat."

Pastrami N Friends, 110 Commack Road, Commack: Serves kosher delicatessen favorites to eat in or take out.

John Santana, a "local guide" on Google reviewed the eatery. "The food is always fresh and delicious. The pastrami. It's not greasy yet totally flavorful. Corned beef is sliced paper-thin, moist and delicious," says the post.

Goldberg's Famous Bagels, 481 Montauk Highway, East Quogue: Bagels, smoked fish and sandwiches are served for breakfast and lunch in basic surroundings.

Sidney Z. of Encino, California says on Yelp, "Goldberg's gets right down to business with it's short (compared to other Deli's) but sweet selections. I had a scoop of really good tuna fish and a scoop of good egg salad. My wife ordered what turned out to be a very good Reuben Sandwich which she rarely decided to share with me."

Ben's Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers7971 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury: It's a kosher deli chain serving entrees, sandwiches, soups, and sides.

Melissa Olsen in a Google review post noted, "Everything I've had so far is unbelievably delicious. You cannot go wrong. Staff is attentive and friendly. I am literally drooling right now thinking about their pastrami."
