ARMONK, N.Y. -- National Poetry Month turns 20 this year, and in honor of the event, the North Castle Public Library announced that it is hosting an event called "The Poets Circle," which will feature several poets from Westchester.
The visiting poets will share their work, the library added, with an open mic also available.
Participating poets include Ned Winterbottom, Ann Van Buren, Rachel Simon, Mary Jane Motl, Beth Fonfrias, Karen Erla, Florence Calman and Mary Brady.
The library also encourages attendees who bring and share their own poetry.
"The Poets Circle" is scheduled for Sunday, April 24 at 3 p.m. It will be held in the library's Periodical Room.
Information about the event is available in the library's calendar.
