Trapped Box Truck Driver Freed In Wyckoff Rollover Crash: Fire Department

A driver was extricated from an overturned vehicle following a serious crash in Wyckoff early Monday morning, March 17, authorities said.

Wyckoff firefighters and first responders were dispatched around 4:30 a.m. for a reported motor vehicle crash, according to the Wyckoff Fire Department.

When responders arrived on scene, they confirmed a single-vehicle rollover with the driver trapped inside, the fire department said. The situation was quickly upgraded to an entrapment response.

Firefighters successfully extricated the driver and transferred them to Midland Park BLS and Valley Hospital ALS for medical care, the department said.

Once a tow company uprighted the vehicle, all responding units were released, officials said.

The cause of the crash was not immediately available.
