7 Killed In Separate Crashes Involving Same Small Plane Aircraft Model Seven people were killed within hours in separate small plane crashes in the Midwest over the weekend. A Cessna 180 went down into the Platte River in Fremont, Nebraska, at about 8:45 p.m. local time Friday, April 18, resulting in the deaths of all three passengers, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Law Firm Founder Killed In Gore Mountain Skiing Accident Colleagues and loved ones are mourning the loss of a prominent attorney and businessman following his untimely death in a skiing accident in the Adirondacks. Kevin Colwell, founder and CEO of the Albany-based Colwell Law Group, died at the Gore Mountain ski resort on Saturday, Feb. 8, the firm said in a statement.
