Jennie Marcus, 94, Longtime Wyckoff Resident

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Longtime Wyckoff resident Jennie Marcus died Tuesday, Jan. 26. She was 94.

Born in the Netherlands, Marcus came to the United States in 1927 and lived in Wyckoff since 1947. She was a member of Faith Reformed Church, in Midland Park.

Marcus is survived by her son, John and his wife Karen from The Villages, Fla.; daughter-in-law Sharon Marcus of Glen Rock; grandchildren Dawn Maley, Denise Eboli, Tammy Paladino, Bryan Marcus, Erin Marcus-Ostrom and Lauren Marcus; great-grandchildren Amanda, Andrew, Justin, William, Christopher, Charles, Brett, Heidi, Hunter, Tyler and Aiden; and sisters Henrietta Klopman of North Haledon and Minnie Siergers of Midland Park.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles S. Marcus; son Charles L. Marcus; and brothers Frank, John, Orie and Sam Schaper.

Visiting hours will be from 3-6 p.m. Friday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
