Since the SBA had reopened the filing period for anyone impacted by Superstorm Sandy to apply for low-interest disaster loans, it had recently opened the temporary office in Fairfield to assist anyone affected by the storm with the disaster loan program and to help individuals complete their applications.

Despite the Outreach Center closing, applicants can still apply online using the Electronic Loan Application via the SBA’s secure website here.

In addition, applicants can mail completed applications to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.

Businesses and individuals may also obtain information about the Disaster Loan Program and loan applications by calling the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (1-800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing), emailing disastercustomerservice@sba.gov or clicking here.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage and economic injury applications is Dec. 1, 2016.
