Franklin Lakes Seeks Crossing Guards

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- The Franklin Lakes Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for part-time and substitute School Crossing Guard positions.

Duties involve controlling vehicular and pedestrian traffic, in conjunction with facilitating the movement of students to and from schools.

Applicants would be relied upon to be available to report for crossing guard duty on short notice. The pay rate is $15.78 per hour, for generally two hours per day, or as needed.

Complete training will be provided by the Franklin Lakes Police Department.

Applications are available for pickup at police headquarters or may be downloaded from the Borough of Franklin Lakes’ website, completed, and then dropped off at police headquarters.
